My stay at Howard Johnson Motor Lodge in Tampa, Florida was a mixed experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the I-4 highway and offers easy access to places like Wawa, but the soundproofing in the rooms could be better as noise from other guests and outside vehicles could be heard. The hotel staff provided excellent service, but the surrounding area felt unsafe with limited dining and shopping options.
The hotel had excellent service with friendly staff. The location was amazing, close to Tampa cruise port and Busch Gardens, right off the highway. The rooms were noisy until 4:00 am due to being next to the expressway, but they were excellent overall.
